STRUCTURAL DETERMINISM
Behaviour change requires a restructuring of the nervous system, not events in the environment. Consequently “we” are responsible for how we think, feel and act because we created the structure we act from. However, most of our choices and actions are structurally determined and automatically absorbed from our culture. We cannot observe our nervous system, only the results in our Way of Being.
