REGENERATING LEADERSHIP
Commitment to continuous learning and change

An effective leader in a VUCA World requires a deeper understanding of one’s Way of Being and life purpose.
The need for leaders to drive transformational change requires a new paradigm for leadership. One that puts caring relationships and engaging conversations at its core. Both are vital in a world demanding systemic change that requires a collaborative mindset.
Regenerative leadership takes inspiration from how living organisms and systems work and self-organise to renew and adapt themselves to thrive in a challenging environment. Leaders seek to create organisations, teams and communities that are sustainable and value life in all its forms.
Dealing with diversity and the ambiguities it generates will require leaders who know how to connect mutual interests, and human concerns with authenticity and integrity.
A regenerative mindset is vitally important in a world in danger of fragmenting and becoming more volatile. Leaders must face facts, explore opportunities, and embrace uncertainty if they are to grow the human spirit and their bottom line.
Regenerative leaders must:
Encourage accountability, trust, and decision-making where transactions and results are located. This is often done in client-focused, front-line teams.
Empower front-line teams to self-organise their responsibilities and learn from trial and error. This means being able to respond spontaneously to changing conditions and customer needs.
Enable simple rules to be created in response to local conditions and patterns of activity by encouraging creative thinking and commitment.
